1965 Dodge Coronet A-990 recreation
This car started as a southern rust free body restoration. Stripped to bare metal and painted with 2009 jaguar red pearl. Looks great in the sun. Engine is 426 standard bore hemi. Date on block is 66. 12.5 compression. Aires pistons. Nascar connecting rods. Half inch bolts. Crankshaft is crower. Oiled system is dodge dry sump. Magnesium oil pan heads are 64-65 race hemi heads. Has roller rockers and solid roller cam. SPES 660 lift duration. 276 on a 108 center line. Double roller timing chain date coded 65 magnesium cross ram intake. CARBS are 3116 hollys original. Trans 18 spline hemi rebuilt. Lake wood bell housing. Aluminium fly wheel with 3000 lb clutch. Headers are 2.25 primarys to a 4 inch collector. 4 inch stainless steel handmade exhaust. Rear end is dana 60 with a 4 10 gear. Car has not been mini-tubbed. All factory chasis. Car has won 2 best paint awards and several other trophies. The car is stunning.
