1957 Dodge Coronet

My '57 Dodge Coronet 2 door hard top coupe is up for sale now.The car has been non-op and sitting since '69. The car was sold in Austria as new and it had been registered out there. it comes with it's original Austrian documents. The drive train is a flathead inline 6 backed with a 3 speed manual gearbox. The engine has seized but I assume that the happy new owner would swap it to a V8 anyway. Both the passenger and the trunk floor need to be replaced as well as the rocker panels in both sides, but the pillar junktions are fine enough. It comes with all the trims. It also comes with another set of new front bumper purchased from So-Cal in 2011.
As far as we know that the car had never involved in any accidents in it's past. The body is straight, no particular dents or dings but surfce rust which recently got taken care a lil' bit by applying some rust oleum type of paint ower of those spots, as it seen on the pics.The glasses are fine, the gauges and the steering wheel are stunning. It has no power brake, power steering, power seats nor power windows.They have new rims, factory radio, new rear lightsetc . You get what you see. Basicically it' a great candidate for a full restauration. Please save this rare piece of Americana and buy it now.
