Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is thrilled to present this Mopar classic 1970 Dodge Coronet for sale on consignment with our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. The Coronet line, which shared Chrysler's B-Body platform with the Belvedere and Charger, received a complete redesign in 1968 and feature a lot of typical Mopar muscle character as well as style that has translated into desirability in the classic car market. This Coronet 2-door hardtop for sale features a tasteful restoration inside and out starting with a deep Blue paintjob that gives the car an energetic and glossy look and really accents the clean body lines of this car. According to the seller, who has owned the vehicle for over 20 years, this car underwent its restoration using the original sheet metal. The Center Line Forged wheels and Cooper raised white letter tires really set the stance off on this 1970 Dodge Coronet. Under the hood you'll find the desirable 440 CID V8 engine that has been rebuilt around 2,500 miles ago according to the seller and features several performance upgrades from aluminum heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake, MSD distributor, Champion radiator and power steering. One of the highlights of this build has to be the Tremec 5-speed manual transmission that has been swapped in- you'll really appreciate that extra gear when you're cruising at speed! Inside this Coronet, the seating has been reupholstered in Black leather but retains the stock bucket seat shape for authenticity. The factory dash gauges include a tachometer which is bound to be useful considering this car has a manual transmission. Furthermore, a retro stereo system has been installed along with additional speakers and a full sound system for ultimate rockin' entertainment! Check out the signature “pistol grip" shifter too- a must in a Mopar. This beautiful 1970 Dodge Coronet is a fast, fun Mopar legend that is ready to make its presence known in your driveway.
