Description
For your consideration.
1968 Dodge Coronet R/T 440 Automatic.
A Local car that came to us as part of a collection. The car is an original WS23 Coronet R/T 440 HP car.Original Torch Red with black interior.A super rare hiperformance muscle car that is better than money in the bank. She runs and drives great but needs some love as you can see.The car is laser straight, little to no rust anywhere. The paint is a good 10-15 footer as far as that goes. It's an older laquer paint job and has it's flaws, but good enough for any friday night cruise. The striping on the back is the original style to the car, has cracking in it and also comes with a new o.e.m. stripe kit (may get that replaced before it sells). The floors are very solid, have had a couple patches, but were done correctly at the time (over 30 years ago) and show no signs of coming back. The trunk is solid, carries it's original paint and really needs nothing. The engine is strong, as is the 727 auto transmission which shifts through the gears fine, doesn't smoke, and has had a few modifications. The exhaust manifolds were replaced with headers, a new aftermarket intake, ignition, and Holley carb.( original intake and original thermoquad come with the car).It is also a power steering car that works excellent. The interior is nice, excellent seats, door panels, carpet and a crack free dash. With with exception to the headliner as it's had a couple visitors in storage and the holes to prove it.Still in place, and usable til you can afford a new one.Wheels are Crager Street trick aluminums with new BFG raised white letter tires.(older, but still full tread).Last but not least is the gaugesMost work at random and we've not dug into that.Should be an easy fix, but simply don't have the time to do this one up as she should be.
