Thank you for looking!
For sale is my 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee clone project.
Floors were done about 6 years ago.
Fenders, hood, and front valance about 5 years ago
Frame appears solid.
Small rust spot in lower corner of passenger door.
Car comes with quarter panels, trunk pans, extensions, rear window filler panel, rear window corners, and rear wheel openings. I believe I have all of the sheet metal to complete the car. *** the rear glass was pulled, but is included in the sale! no chrome for the rear window though, it was damaged and I planed to replace it.
Hood scoops are originals, not reproductions with new chrome on tips.
New door handles from Mopar.
New dark metallic blue super bee door panels, front seat upholstery, rear is in decent shape, as well as new arm rest bases, and pedal dress up kit. Arm rests, as well as visors are good.
Carpet is new and very presentable, but was cut short in one spot. It is not very noticeable, but I want to try to make the buyer aware.
Car will need dash pad, package tray, and headliner.
Rally dash is in primer, and includes tic toc tach with wood grain inserts.
The radio bezel I have is for a knob style radio, but there is an AM 8track in the dash. You could throw in the knob radio to complete the dash, or find the bezel for the 8track. I collected the plastic/glove box door for the rally dash, but it is loosely placed on for appearance. I do not have the metal latch for the glove box door though.
Wood grain wheel
Column has factory cruise set up on turn signal switch.
Car comes with new correct hood pin kit still in the box
Windshield and gasket are brand new
Replaced all of the marker lights with nice used ones that are very nice
Again, the rear glass has been removed.
Grills are nice, -not perfect- but they are both for the left side. I could not bring myself to cut it up for the hood release. and will leave that dilemma up to the new owner.
New rear shocks, and comes with brand new super stock rear springs
Gas tank was professionally cooked and sealed.
Recently repacked the front bearings, suspension is tight, new brakes on rear.
Replaced the rear differential with 8 3/4
Rear diff was went through, new bearings, new rear shoes, and re sealed.
3" exhaust system
Aluminum cross flow radiator with auxiliary electric pusher fan.
Front tires have more than 3/4 tread
New chrome for front valance, never installed
Missing wiper motor.. unless I find it before the auction closes.
This is a great project to complete and would make an awesome clone car.
There are other parts included in the auction. I believe I have another set of front bumpers, and some other odds and ends.
Speakers/ grills on wall in photo -damaged- not included
I have had this car for thirteen years, and it was my first car. I am only selling it because I am moving and I would rather not have to store it indefinitely. Although I have been driving this car, it has just been put together to be able to go to cruise nights, and have fun with. Body lines are off, and the car should be taken apart for restoration. Buyer will need to bring a trailer/truck for parts. I will pull the 440/727 that is currently in the car upon receiving the deposit, but will leave the aluminum cross flow radiator, and 3" exhaust system in place. The car will include what I believe to be the number matching 318/904. I usually don't require a deposit on my vehicles, but I do require a $500.00 non refundable deposit on this one due to the fact that I will be pulling the motor once it is sold, making it harder to store/move. I am happy to show the car, and encourage checking it out prior to the sale if possible. Ask any questions before bidding. Please bring a vehicle that is capable of transporting the parts. No reserve auction, but I do reserve the right to end the auction if the vehicle sells locally. Please be able to pick the vehicle up between July 28th-30th. Thanks for looking, and feel free to contact me.
The passenger door is off of a 68, and it was just bolted on to get it moving again. The sale will include the original door with glass, regulator, etc, but the door was damaged while being transported which is why it was replaced. There was no other damage to the car besides the door being dented.
The 318 is essentially a long block with an intake manifold bolted to it. It will not be running. It ran when pulled, but burned oil. The 904 worked fine, but has sat for 10 years. If you buy the car and do not want them, message me, and I won't waste my time bolting it back in, and your time having to pull it back out. I can just drop it off at the scrap yard.
The pictures showing the car assembled and partly in primer are current. The pictures showing the floor and frame were taken shortly after the floor was repaired.
Sorry, no trades. I am moving out of state August 1st and if the car is not sold and picked up by that date it will be going back into storage.
If you wish to contact me directly my phone number is 7Ol33O6l6l, please call 6-9pm central time during the week, 10am-7pm on the weekends. If you want specific photos you can also text me what you want to see and I will get you anything you need. Thanks, Zack
