RUST FREE, 1987 Dodge D50 (Dakota) made for Dodge by Mitsubishi, 2.0 four cylinder Mitsubishi motor, 132,000, automatic transmission, no A/C, non-4x4, rear drive.
New brakes (rotors/calipers/pads-$500 worth), tires 75%, paint shines like new, interior excellent albeit a small wear on driver's side-shifts fine, all lights/gauges work (to my knowledge), windows/heater work as designed. Carpet was removed and professionally steam cleaned-no tears and no wear-dash is crack free, non-smoker.
NEEDS REAR MAIN SEAL REPLACED, leaks oil, has non-visual impairing crack in windshield, tailgate latch is broken, but tailgate opens/closes as normal. E-brake needs repaired and "BRAKE" light is displayed on cluster because of that.
I bought this from a guy who bought it from an on-line estate sale-the truck sat for a few years. I buy vehicles like this to recondition/repaint to keep myself busy since I'm retired and get bored. I am not a mechanic so all repairs are done by my certified mechanic, and since I can't do repairs, this truck is for sale with the knowledge that it needs a rear main seal.
Would make a good candidate for a V8 swap. I have been told any Dodge Dakota 318 or V6 will fit w/o issues in the engine bay.
