We Installed a 8 3/4 rear for a"A" body and equipped it with Moser aftermarket axles in the event wewere to build a high horsepower motor, we installed 3.23 gears in therear, we think it's a sure grip. The car was originally Y2 yellow The engine bay and trunk retain that color
The motorwas rebuilt in the past and runs great, transmission shifts and alsoworks great. One of my friends purchased the car last fall from theoriginal owner it has a stack of service records from the time ofpurchase, It is believed to be a factory rep's car when new. The carcame from Southern California. It was heavily undercoated and the floorsare rock solid, the bumpers were rechromed many years ago. the dash pad is crackedbut a good one comes with the car, We have not attempted to get the A/Cworking, all components are there. the temp gauge and fuel gauge don'tact right not sure what's up with them. We drove the car to Las Vegas in April to Mopars at the Strip It runs great, and gets lots of looks.
Theentire suspension including torsion bars and leaf springs were redoneless than 2,000 miles ago. The seats have been recovered and are nice,The Dart also retains it's original fender tag.
