Description
1975 Dodge Dart Swinger, original paint, never seen salt. Lifelonggaraged Montana car. Original 318 c.i. motor, upgraded recently to 360 with performance cam by previous owner who was a mechanic. 118Kmiles, about 5K on motor. It's a super solid car that runs and drivesgreat. Other than the motor upgrade, pipes, wheels, disc brakes, radio, andwindow tint, it's stock and original. New bushings, new exhaust. Longterm previous owner.
Exterior:Mostly original FE5 Rally Red paint still shines. The carlooks good overall and casual observers won't notice flaws, car showguys definitely will. Will need repaint for serious show duty. Gooddriver as is.Exterior has no rust and underside looks great. Paint hasscratches that have been touched up, and a few small dings. Originalvinyl top in good condition overall but bottom lower corners by trunkmolding had some cracks and previous owner put sealant there.
Interior: All original except seat upholstery, which was redone, andlooks great. Original carpet is in very good condition. Dash, doorpanels, headliner also in good shape. Original Tuff steering wheel isnice, after market stereo sounds good. No noticeable stains or smells,glass is good. Overall decent looking rig that even the wife willapprove of.
Mechanical: Starts, runs, and drives well. No noises, leaks, or smoke. Era correct rebuilt and cammed 360 engine sounds and pulls strong and smooth. Car is tight. All new tires, 245 60 15 rear and 205 7015 front. Everything works. This is a nice driving car that sounds andruns good.
Pricing/Misc: If you're looking for a restored show car, this will need some work. If you want an honest survivor in excellent condition, thiscould be the one. CA Smog exempt. Car also being sold locally so listing may end sooner. Pics of motor will be up Tues.
