Description
This is your chance to restore the way you want to, last licensed in 1999, repainted probably in the 80's. Engine is a number matching 340, the block has been bored and plate honed to .40 over (cam bearings and soft plugs installed), the crank turned .20 .20(with a new set of rod and main bearings) and the rods sized. Correct heads, intake, and exhaust manifolds (right one has tabs broken could be repairable?) engine is complete except carburetor and normal rebuild parts (pistons, pins, some valves, valve springs, camshaft, etc). All bolting, brackets, pulleys, starter, mounts are included. Transmission was in good working condition when pulled, it is not number matching. It's a very solid car and has great potential, trunk, floor boards, engine compartment, frame and under carriage are in very good condition. It has rear quarter panel, below rear window, and top of right rear fender rust issues. There is front damage to the bumper, grill and right fender. Windshield is cracked (doesn't show well in picture) rest of glass looks good with minor dings. Has been setting long enough the tires are not road worthy. I have tried to show and or list all problem areas so you can get a real idea of what you are getting, it is a very solid car that will restore very well. Any questions you have I will do best to answer honestly. Car was running but in need of a rebuild when I pulled the engine and transmission and had the machine work done. I was going to get it running again then sell it (too many projects to do full restore) but thought someone would rather build the engine with the parts they wanted. So here it is, restore it to your liking.
