Description
This NO-RESERVE auction is for a project car. It is currently fitted with a non-running slant six and manual 3 speed transmission. 1963 was the first year of the smaller 'A' body Dart and it became available with the 273 inch V-8 in 1964, so this car will accommodate the entire LA engine series making it an easy conversion to a 318 or 360 small block. Add an A-833 4 speed or a 904 automatic and you've got a killer street rod. If you go that route, don't forget an 8 3/4" rear axle or equivalent! The car does have rust and will require, at a bare minimum, new front floor pans--see the photos. The glass is good all the way around but the upholstery is shot. I don't have the keys so there is no telling what is in the trunk. There are plenty of Novas and Fairlanes on the street--here's your opportunity to insert a budget Mopar into the mix!
I inherited the vehicle from my brother's estate. He purchased it on Ebay and it came with a clear Utah title. He never converted the title and neither have I so the Utah title will pass to the successful bidder.
The car is currently in my driveway in Northwest Montana where it has resided for the last five years. It becomes more clear every day that I'll never start on this project so I'm ready to unclutter the driveway and send the Dart to a new home where it has a chance of returning to the streets.
Please contact me through Ebay if you have questions--I'll try to answer them quickly. Please note: I'm selling the car as a complete unit and am not in a position to sell individual parts.
Successful bidder will pay by personal check, cash or certified cashiers check with a $100 PayPal deposit within 48 hours of the close of the auction. Personal checks must clear my bank before vehicle is available for transport. Buyer is strictly responsible for shipping but I will help load on your trailer. Thanks for looking!
