Description

This car is a combination of excellent original and/or quality refurbishing as needed. Except for the tires I believe it to be all stock. It is straight, clean, free of any dings or dents; no evidence of pets or smoke ever. All correct original parts are present (except maintenance items); buyer will not need to search for parts. Reliable and dependable.Starts easy and runs well in all climate conditions.Never overheats. Pushbutton Torqueflite 3 speed transmission shifts excellent in all gears. I have driven to several long distance car shows without incident and generally averaged 23 mpg.Always garaged for at least the last 10 years. I am not aware of any mechanical, body, paint, electrical or interior issues that need addressed. Everything works! The car drives and stops straight, steers easy, handles well, and runs smooth at either urban or rural speeds.
The exterior is believed to have the original paint on the hood, top, trunk deck, upper fenders and engine compartment (the cowl has an original stamp on the driver side!). The paint below the side trim has been re-done for the most part to match the original color. There is no known rust. Bumpers are straight and the chrome bright. All trim, chrome, stainless and plastic is in excellent condition. The GT hood emblem has a crack in the plastic. The right side exterior mirror has very minor chrome pitting but the surface is smooth. There is a little play in the door window glass (in/out) due to wear (perhaps a plastic guide).
The interior is orginal except for the front and rear seat covers and the package tray. It still has the original headliner which has no tears or stains; visors the same. All door panels are original and in excellent condition. All of the carpet is original ( including lower doors and seat backs) and shows some slight discoloration (fading) from age but is in very good condition so it never has been replaced. The original padded dash has the beginning of some separation just to the right of the steering wheel (see photo) but otherwise very good. The transistor radio works as do all the gauges, lights, turn signals, switches, dimmers, etc. Both fresh air vents are tight and not broken. If this car needed anything I would have fixed it!
Within the past two years I have installed new radial tires, new windshield with new chrome lock strip (original glass had started to delaminate at the edges), new lock strip on rear window, Mopar reproduction original style battery, rear seat covers and package tray (replaced due to fading), and trunk mat. Additionally, any and all maintenance needed was done to include: lube, oil, filter, gas filter, new spark plugs, new anti-freeze, new front wheel bearings/seals and new tail pipe.
I have the title history dating back to August 1999 where it had a CA title and was then transferred to OR in October of 1999. Actual mileage declared in August 1999 was 64,508. I have the records since then documenting mileage; therefore, it is believed the 94,700 is actual. CA has no records prior to August 1999; therefore no more history is available.
Two build sheets go with the car; one from beneath the rear seat bottom and one from the rear seat back. The car was built April 25, 1963 in Newark, Deleware. One set of the original aluminum keys with the Dodge Swept Wing logo go with the car as does a vanity visor mirror with the Swept Wing logo.
