Upfor sale is a 1998 DODGE DURANGO SLT 4WD - SPORT UTILITY VEHICLE(SUV) - 4 DOOR -7 PASSENGER SEATING – EQUIPPED WITH A V8 5.2LENGINE.
I bought this car in 1999 with low mileage so I consider myself mostly the one owner. I gave it to my mother-in-law for a couple of years and then got it back after we started a family. A few years ago when the transmission went out I made a decision to either sell it then after having it fixed or investing a large amount of money into it and just keep it instead of buying new. I decided to keep it so I put about 15K into it. I had every ding and dent removed and had it painted. I had a front grill guard installed (great investment) and had accessory lighting installed as well as upgraded fog lights installed. The reason why I replaced the factory fog lights is due to I think it was a screw up by Dodge to put plastic that low to the ground where a tiny rock always cracks the thin lens. Water would then get inside and the bulb goes out. I had them both replaced with glass and metal and haven't had a problem for years. PIAA lighting was my choice for the front grill accessory lighting. I had a class three hitch receiver installed with a break controller. I use to pull our small camper around with it. I have kept the hitch gear working up to this date. Air conditioning works great always put out very cold air. I had a remote control auto start installed so you can warm it up from inside the house. Also is great for finding your car at walmart. Before starting a family I had a DVD am/fm/xm receiver installed with two video screens one in the back and a automatic flip up one that comes out of the dash in the front. Receiver is controlled by remote you see sitting in the middle under the CB. You can play on both displays at the same time or just one and not use the other. The flip out screen in the front is touch screen. About 3,500 dollars in audio video equipment alone. All still working like new. Came in handy once the family got started but quality wise I did it for myself before the kids came along, so it kicks butt, if you want it to that is. With this kind of mileage just about everything you can think of has been replaced and even things you would think of. Runs great like a charm and sounds and feels smooth. We used it to go back and forth to FL twice this year and it ran like a clock. Anything that went out of wack I am one of those guys that gets it fixed right away. Of course it's been a while since I had the body re-done and detailed so their may be some dings and wear here and there judge for your self by the photos. There is some rust on the grill guard as it takes the elements first on the road while driving. Almost forgot It has also a trans cooler installed in the front grill. It wasn't necessary for the size camper I had but I had it done anyway. Cash, Check or money orders only and must clear before taking possession. If using cash I use to own a store so I have plenty of those counterfeit checking pens to check your bills. Alert to crooks and scammers, I have been doing Ebay since it started I know your tricks. I sold a boat on Ebay three times with no payment due to "cash up front" policy without even looking at it with no response to emails. All turned out to try and steal from me with a check to be cashed and we pay some "guy" to pick it up and deliver it to you. This will not work with me so don't even try it! The third customer wanted to pay with paypal and have me ship it overseas lol yeah I was born yesterday. Thanks for looking at my auction. We hate to see it go as it's a great family car. We are buying an all Electric car and I figured it out as much as we drive we will save over 60,000 dollars in the next five years. Good Luck!
