Description
1962 Dodge Lancer 170 WagonI always loved these funky wagons and when I had an opportunity to buy this one a couple of years ago I jumped on it. My plan was to build a cool period correct hot rod wagon but unfortunately never got around to it due to lack of time, space, and storage. The car is exactly as I bought it from CA a couple of years ago except it has some minor damage to it due to my carport collapsing on it under 30 inches of snow. Luckily the damage was minimal, dents on top of both front fenders and small dent on rear quarter. The car is very solid overall, it does need floor pans (rubber mat car) I do have two new front floor pans that will be included with the sale. Original quarter panels have no bondo, and the car was re-painted once in the early 90s. It runs and drives, however, the brakes need to be overhauled so I wouldn’t take it on any long trips, especially downhill. You can easily drive it up on a trailer however. 225 slant six with pushbutton auto. Headliner was missing when I bought it but I have the bows. Power Rear window just got stuck in down position, I will protect from elements with some plastic. Car needs complete restoration, and is being sold as is. I haven’t seen one of these wagons on eBay in the past two years, here is your chance. I don’t want to sell it but I am not doing it any good by letting it sit. Please reach out to me with any questions before bidding. If you have less than 5 feedback or any non payment complaints in the last 6 months your bid will be cancelled. $500 deposit due 48 hours of winning bid via PayPal, the rest in cash or cashiers check at pickup. Starting bid $2500 (half of what I paid for it 2 years ago) and no reserve! Highest bid wins and buys the car!Ask the wife before bidding! If your feet get cold, do not bid!! Thanks and happy bidding!
