Description
1950 Dodge B2B VIN# 82188255 (no title , B.O.S. only ) real authentic patina, all original blue paint, no bondo anywhere or fake patina, this truck has genuine character and tells a story of work! Has dings and dents, and pros and cons, but all in all, this is a salvageable truck for an awesome authentic rat rod truck. The picture with the snow, and the photo of truck on my trailer is what it looked like put together when I got it. Paint has not been clear coated, sanded or scrubbed, all natural. Chassis is good, it rolls but wheels are just usable and thrown on, has the complete factory inline 6 engine, accessories and manual transmission, driveshaft and rear-end. The engine crankshaft turns back and forth partially but I didn’t force it because I’d guess it has sticking lifter/rocker/valve. I’ve had the components for this truck stored out of the weather. It has cab, bed, front clip sitting on chassis, but not bolted together, as you can see in the pics, it was taken apart to evaluate. The bench seat is in decent shape, have the steering column, the interior dash is good, has all the glass only the driver’s door glass is broken. The complete front clip, fenders, complete hood, the complete bed, are in all what I consider good condition, all the chrome is there and in decent shape, the grill has a bunch of small bends and dings but can be straightened out better, the driver’s door has a big dent in it, in general, the doors are usable, the hinge and latch areas are solid but the skins and bottoms are rusted badly. The hinge pillars on the cab are in good shape and solid. The cab floor and rockers are in bad shape, the roof has holes in it, and the driver’s rear B pillar has damage and needs repair and welding. One running board is much better than the other. Tailgate is usable but has rust holes and it's thin. Despite all this, the truck has hope, and it deserves to be on the road. The last photo of this truck, in the gravel, next to a Ford truck, is what it currently looks like with the other parts stored away. Come with a trailer and wench and straps so we can roll the complete chassis with the front clip, cab and bed just sitting on the truck. Then we can tuck and strap all the rest of the parts neatly. No title, all I have is a bill of sale from my purchase, and I'll fill out a bill of sale to you. I get back to messages quickly and can reply to whatever questions you have. I’m excited to find a home for it! This poor truck had been sitting under a NC carport since 1989! I can email you specific pictures if you want, and can even deliver for an appropriate fee if you're local enough, fully paid and you come in-person first. I will not ship vehicle. Thank you, enjoy bidding!
