Description
For sale is my Grandparent's 1979 Dodge D150 Adventurer. Truck is believed to be a 1 owner Florida vehicle (earliest registration I could find is from 1981). Truck was driven fairly regularly til about 2013. I have paperwork of a recent major service Summer 2021. The notable service items include: Carburetor, fuel lines, fuel tank, and fuel pump have either been rebuilt or replaced. Fuel pump has been converted to an electric pump instead of a mechanical one. It drove under it's own power from the mechanic's shop but, no longer turns over after sitting for a couple weeks. Also has a relatively new battery and 4 new-used tires.
Truck is free from any major rust. Truck has spent majority of it's life garage kept. Original exterior and interior. A/C and Radio do not work. Transmission is leaking fluid.
We'd really like to see this truck find a good home and get restored. As much as we'd like to keep it, we're just at a point where it needs to go. It's hard for us to store such a large truck and find a mechanic that is willing to work on this age of vehicle. Feel free to message me with any questions. I'll answer them to the best of my ability. Happy Bidding!
