1950 Dodge 5-window short bed pickup. Straight body, title in hand

I am listing this truck for my Dad. It was his hobby project back in the 1980s and he had it in pretty good running shape back then. He used it to commute to work for a couple of years, then parked it out in the Nevada desert, figuring he'd get back to it someday. Somewhere along the line vandals got ahold of it and broke out all the windows, stole the transmission and radiator, and ripped off all the badges. Interestingly enough they didn't shoot it full of holes or beat the body panels up, so it's still in pretty good shape - there are some dents from all the use it got over the years, but I don't think they beat it up at all.Pretty much everything I can say is shown in the pictures, there's some surface rust on the cab, hood, doors, and fenders, but none of it goes all the way through. This part of the country only gets about 3" of rain per year, so the rust hasn't had much chance to really get through. The engine was in good running condition when he parked it, but it would be anybody's guess what kind of condition it's in by now.
This truck would make a great rat rod or restoration project. My Dad has a clear Nevada title for it.
