Description
1952 Dodge B3B Pickup
The Good:
· I bought the truck from the previous owner in 2001 and drove it all over Vancouver. In that time I made the following repairs:
o New front shocks
o New mahogany wood bed
o All sheet metal was removed, cleaned and reassembled with new fasteners.
Have all the original bolts as well
o New fender welts all around
o New tailgate chains and covers.
o Frame has no rust and was wire brushed and given a coat of rustoleum
o New brake lines, wheel cylinders and brake shoes
o Bench seat was recovered.
o Found a 5 window parts truck and had the quarter windows welded in.
o Put a helicoil in the #3 sparkplug to fix a compression issue.
o Carb was rebuilt.
o Fuel bowl was disassembled and cleaned.
o Has an original radio!
o Have all the original glass.
o All gauges work as they should
o Have a shop manual
The Bad:
· Just over a year ago I started getting gas in the oil. :(
o Truck does turn over and runs but it is now putting out white smoke.
o …and of course this happened while I had all of the glass out and was saving up for new rubber.
Reason I’m selling:
· I just inherited my Dad’s F150 and do not have room for 2 trucks in my garage.
