Dodge : Polara Ramcharger 426 Cross-Ram

The early-sixties Ramcharger Dodges were the predecessors of the mighty Race and Street Hemis. By 1963, the 426 Ramchargers were ruling the tracks, and the streets all across America, and this beautiful Black Brute is a tribute to the final evolution of the Wedge series of Factory racers. Starting with a clean mild-mannered Polara 440, this car was built with all of the new right pieces, a 440 cubic-inch block was decked out with an aluminium cross-ram intake with twin Edelbrock carbs, and those spectacular original exhaust manifolds, and mated to a push-button-shifted built 727 automatic transmission for quick, reliable launches!
Every body panel was massaged to perfection in preparation for the high-gloss black finish, accented by all of the original aluminium and stainless-steel trim pieces refinished to better-than-new condition. The same attention to details and slick finish was applied to the underside of the car, and the trunk, where the original-style battery resides, as on the original racers!
It would be impossible to replicate the quality of build and parts on this incredible show car at anywhere near the asking price!
