25,111 MILES IT'S 69 YEARS OLD !!
This is a very well preserved truck. The CITIES oil change sticker on the door jam is dated 5-14-68 oil and lube @ 10,355 miles.
THE EXTERIOR
It has been painted at some time in its past. I had professionally detailed and touched up. Very presentable and shows very well as you can see in the pictures.I was told that the rear bumper was rare on the 48 - 49 Dodge pickups.
THE INTERIOR
The door panels, headliner, kick panels firewall pad and seat are original. The cardboard in the glove box is like new ! Steering wheel is beautiful and has no cracks.The floor pan was painted and a repro. mat installed.
THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT
I was going to have it detailed, but decided to leave it alone. Look at the coil, upper and lower hoses, untouch ! Original paint through out.
UNDERCARRAGE
The floor pans and cab are rust free.No signs of any auto damage at all . The frame has some patina on it . IT'S ALMOST 70 YEARS OLD !!!!
I've had owned this truck since 1999. I'm 66 and have owned other low mileage vehciles. You can tell it's a low mileage vehcile just by driving it.
This has to be one of the lowest mileage 1949 Dodge Ram trucks in the nation !!!! Bid with confidence.
