Well maintained 2012 Ram 2500 for sale. The truck is great mechanical condition, has been very well maintained, is rust free and has a remote start. 168,000 of the 181,000 miles were spent in the dry desert environment of the Southwest. During the 2.5 years and 13,000 miles in the Northeast, the truck has been oil undercoated and garaged the entire time. This is a great all around highly capable vehicle. The power and drivetrain are fantastic and there are only minor defects that come along with it being almost 10 years old.
Upgrades that were completed by a professional diesel mechanic prior to my ownership:
· H&S Mini Max Tuner
· EGR/DEF delete
· Aftermarket exhaust (sounds good, but not obnoxious)
· Bilstein Shocks
· 2.5” Body Lift
· 20” x 10” aftermarket rims with 35” tires
· Pioneer head unit with handsfree/Bluetooth and a reverse camera (mounted above the license plate)
Upgrades completed during my ownership:
· Bakflip tri fold hard tonneau cover
· Carhart custom fit seat covers (all seats)
· Weathertech custom fit all weather floor mats
· Upgraded headlamp assemblies to Halogen Projector (including appropriate electrical adapters)
· Upgraded upper and lower control arms for a 4WD 2500 with a 2.5” lift
Maintenance executed during my ownership (completed by a professional mechanic):
· 168,887 miles – Replaced drop pitman arms, drag link joints and installed new control arms and steering box stabilizer bar
· 170,190 miles – Oil/filter change, check belts/fluids/steering/brakes
· 170,190 miles – New Hampshire approved oil undercoating
· 173,554 miles – Completed Recall T79 (brake transmission shift interlock) at dealer
· 174,284 miles – Replaced rear brake rotors and pads, bleed/replace brake fluid
· 177,997 miles – Oil/filter change, check belts/fluids/steering/brakes
· 178,000 miles – Replaced heater core, receiver dryer and HVAC evaporator
Minor defects:
· Windshield washer fluid light comes on from time to time even when the reservoir is full
· Liftgate hatch can stick from time to time
· Minor paint chips in the hood and behind wheel wells – overall the paint is in solid shape
· Chip in the windshield – happened the first week I got it, hasn’t grown/spread at all
