2003 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 2500 SLT 5.9
Cummins Diesel, short bed, automatic transmission, ONLY
92k original miles, 3.73 gears, Leer Fiberglass Bed Cap, 34 gallon fuel
tank, original factory 17” wheels with Cooper Adventurer tires, 4” turbo back
exhaust, power windows, locks, tow mirrors and driver seat. The truck is very stock and only has had the
brake controller, Air Dog fuel/air separation system, and window vent shades
added!
Very hard to find a super clean 5.9 Cummins that is mostly factory stock and has no rust and only 92k miles!!! The Ram has a super clean frame, undercarriage, interior, engine bay, and absolutely stunning paint!!! The Ram has never been tuned or chipped and runs/drives fantastic! The interior is also super clean and has never been smoked in. I just did a lot of maintenance items to it and just finished a complete detail inside and out on this absolutely awesome low mileage truck! This truck is super nice and super clean!!!
PAINT, BODY AND FRAME
The body, paint and panels are very straight and in extremely nice shape and appear to be the original sheet metal! The Ram was rust proofed and undercoated since it was new. The cab, floor boards, doors, fenders, bed and hood are all in great shape. The inside edges of the doors are excellent and the door jam paint looks fantastic! The doors open and close with ease and the seams are excellent. The frame is in excellent shape and the undercarriage is also very clean and neat and has been cleaned and coated with a paint grade extremely nice undercoat. You can still see several of the Mopar factory labels on the undercarriage. The paint is super nice for a truck being almost 20 years old and looks absolutely beautiful! There are only a couple very small scratches and a few very small paint stone chips that were brush touched mostly on the hood and a couple on the tailgate. The inside of the bed area does have the common scratches and some small dents. I have photo’s of these on the extra picture link below. All in all the paint is absolutely beautiful!!! Just done was a professional multiple step buffing process on the entire truck then waxed and fully detailed top to bottom. The beautiful Garnet Red paint has that deep wet look shine and super high gloss! It is just as impressive even under the best florescent lighting. There are no ugly plastic fender flares hiding rust on this truck like many others have!!! I am very picky and critical as well as honest so please do not hesitate to call me as I will crucify my own truck and do a complete walk around with you on the phone. GLASS, CHROME AND TRIM
The windshield is newer along with the gasket and brand new chrome trim and looks great! The driver side door glass has a few small scratches as well as the passenger side door but look very good for factory glass. The rear bumper is brand new and in excellent condition (old one was dented). The front grill is in very nice original condition with no cracks. The Leer bed cap is super nice and has new key locks installed.
INTERIOR
The super clean interior is in very nice shape and has never been smoked in! The carpet, dash, seats and headliner are all in extremely nice condition. The driver side front seat cover only has one small poke hole the size of a dime and is near the seat belt area and is NOT worn on the seat bottom edge like almost everyone you will see. The dash cluster is in very nice condition and all factory gauges work and operate correctly. All lighting works as should including the high/low beams, dome light, reverse lights, tail lights, parking lights, turn signals, four-way flashers, map light, and license plate light. The heat and A/C work both good but the A/C does have a very slow leak as I did add one can of R134 last summer. The fan motor, wipers, horn and aftermarket radio also work great. It also has the extra storage area under the rear seats and a flat fold out option if needed.
DRIVE TRAIN
The low mileage excellent running 5.9 Cummins turbo diesel makes strong power and runs excellent. This engine runs beautiful and is all stock and not tuned or chipped. The engine bay is absolutely spotless and looks fantastic! It has been adult owned and not abused or used as a work truck. These 5.9 Cummins are known to last forever and get excellent fuel economy!
The 47RE automatic transmission was just serviced and received a fluid and filter change along with a governor pressure sensor and solenoid. Excellent truck on the highway and pulled my car trailer with ease.
