I am selling my 2001 Ram 2500 Diesel 4x4 because my wife just got into an accident with it by driving into a ditch. Some quick history about the truck then ill list the good and the bad.
My uncle purchased this truck brand new from the dealer in 2001. He recently bought a new cummins and handed this one down to me since he was aware i liked Dodge as my truck is a 2001 2500 cummins as well. Was a perfect truck to let my wife drive since it has a gooseneck ball she could haul her horse around. 2 weeks ago she went off the road into a ditch. Truck tipped on passenger side then went back down on wheels. Now let me say (go dodge!!!) no airbags deployed, wife was fine, and i drove this truck home 10 miles just fine. It still starts, runs, and drives straight and smooth.
The Good
- 1 owner truck
- Reman mopar trans installed 20k miles ago
- Only 200k original hwy miles
- No powertrain fluid leaks
- New VP44 injection pump installed at the dealer
- Frame is straight as an arrow
- Mechanically sound
- Been regular with maintenance
- 4x4 works great
- Gooseneck and regular hitches
The bad
- Needs radiator and radiator support
- Needs passenger front fender inner and outer
- Bed is banged up
- Needs hood
- Passenger door needs adjusted
- Tailgate does not sit well due to bed damage
The truck will not come with the wheels and tires in the pic. It will come with 3rd gen alloys. I started to work on the truck and radiator is out but the truck can still start run and drive just fine. Clean and clear title in hand. The accident was not reported. Did not have full coverage on the truck.
