Description
Totally cool early half door Ram Charger poptop. This was built in May 1974, so it is what is considered an early production one. It appears to be all original paint. 318, three on the tree(for you young people, that means it is a 3 speed manual shift transmission, and the shifter is on the steering column). Manual steering, power brakes. It did not come with a factory rear seat, although I do have a seat frame that had been put in there at one point, but it clearly is not original. Also it did not come from the factory with a center console either. It did come with a white roof, and a passenger seat. It also has a 3.91 Gear ratio, which is very rare. The five original steel wheels are included, but it now has chrome wheels with 2 year old tires on it.
The guy I bought itfrom, had owned it since the early to mid 90's. He got it from hisbrother who had also owned it for quite some time. His brother hadmoved to Colorado with it for, I think he said about 3 years, sounfortunately there is some rust. It does still have the original exhaust including muffler, so obviously it isn't too rusty. As you can see it is not fallingapart. Runs and drives great. The wipers don't work, and the horndoesn't work, but I haven't even looked at them(could be a fuse). I bought an NOS fuelsending unit, so the gas gauge works. Emergency brake light works, as do the other gauges, along with the interior lights when you open the door. The earlier Dodge truck hood ornaments were added to the fenders many years ago.
It is titled, registered and insured in my name. Email, call, or text with questions. 602-614-1758 I reserve the right to end the auction early. Please don't ask my reserve. If you want to make an offer, please feel free to do so. Thanks Dan
