Description

You are looking at one of the cleanest 1993 Dodge Viper RT/10's around. All original. Clean title in hand, ready for a new enthusiast. 17,324 miles. It is a 03/93 build date, and it is the more desired 1992 carry over model with the antenna on the rear fender, battery in trunk, etc. This is a collector car. The car is in near flawless condition. Fresh oil change was done at the beginning of the season. It had a full tune up done last season. It also has a fresher set of Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires, put on about 7k miles ago. The car was always garage stored and only driven during ideal driving conditions. Looks and drives like new. Hard to believe that the car is 22 years old. I am the second owner of the vehicle. I purchased it in Michigan, just outside of Detroit. The original owner was a Chrysler employee, and car collector. I have had it for about 6 years now.
This was my dream car since I was 10 years old, and it has been a pleasure to own. It puts a smile on my face every time I take it out. Unfortunately, due to relocation and downsizing, there is no more room for it. Whoever ends up with this car, will be happy with it for years to come.
Condition
Overall, the car is in near flawless condition. The paint is beautiful. There are no scratches, or gashes, or dents, on the vehicle. There are a few hairline swirl scuffs that are barely noticeable, unless you know exactly where they are, and the exact angle and lighting to spot them. The interior is in perfect condition. The seats barely show any wear. The part of the dashboard that is made from the fuzzy like plastic is in great condition, but as with all Gen I cars, there are some hairline scratches and scuffs and it shows some age. This is normal in all of the first gen Viper's. Overall, the car looks and drives like new. When I converse with people and let them know it is a 1993, their jaws typically drop.
There are 3 minor imperfections on the vehicle which I would like to mention. The first is the soft top roof. I punctured a tiny slit in it, as the windows and roof were in the trunk. The windows have a piece of metal that is sharp, that goes into the door when installed, and it punctured the roof. The slit is around 1.5 inches in length. I bought some boat adhesive (as suggested by the guys on the Viper Club of America), which is like a clear sticker, and that took care of it. It is on the inside of the roof, and it is barely noticeable. You cannot see it from the outside. The second thing to note is there is a few small spots of paint bubbling on the side sills. The exhausts on these cars get very hot. Over time, the side sills will bubble and need to be refinished. The side sills on my Viper are original. There has been no paint work done to them. As it is a minor cosmetic blemish, and there are only a few of them, I had no plans to do this any time soon. In the photos, I have circled the couple of areas where the bubbling is so that you can see exactly where it is. The last thing to note, is that there is some spotting of oil coming from the oil pan. When I say spotting, I mean very little. I had it in at the Viper tech and he said it is the oil pan gasket, which is not difficult or expensive to swap if needed. His suggestion was, "Don't worry about it, she is just marking her territory." As it is very little spotting, I have not worried too much about it. I have kept an eye on it over the past 3 years and it has been consistent.
