Description
This car is no ordinary Viper. Professional modifications were made when the car was new. Absolutely no accidents. The vehicle was purchased from original owner out of Portland, Oregon.
Engine
The vehicle received a $27,000.00 engine upgrade as follows:
Replaced pistons with diamond forged pistons with total high performance seal rings. Had small end of piston rod bushed to make assembly a full fleater. Installed performance cam shaft and replaced rod bearings with Clearit 77 bearings. Replaced cylinder heads with ported heads and big valves. Installed push rods, matched cam and performance heads. Replaced rockers with roller rockers with 1.7 ratio. Engine controller was modified. Installed a Paxton supercharger kit, which includes a custom intercooler system and air intake. Installed shift light and supercharged boost gauge - $1000.
The engine upgrade provides approximately 140 extra horsepower to the wheels and the car can reach 100 kph under 3 seconds.
Transmission
Installed new 3:55 differential -$1350, heavy duty clutch and high performance axles which has the car maximizing its potential off the line, but can still reach speeds of 200 + mph. The new 2005 transmission has smoother shift patterns than the original 2003. Also a aluminum flywheel was installed- $1000.
Brakes
Installed sports champ car (Brembo - $3000) floating rotors with custom red calipers -$1700 and pads where you can stop on a dime.
Exhaust
Installed a complete Balanger exhaust system including exhaust and header - $4700. Sounds fantastic.
Wheels
The original wheels were replaced with three piece modulars made in Switzerland (HRE performance wheels @ approximately $2300 each (sale of car includes five) and the car was professionally lowered. Pirelli tires installed all around approx $900 for rear tires each and $600 each for front, providing much improved traction and handling over original.
Safety
Installed chrome roll bars - $1000 and professional TeamTech (five-point) seat harnesses - $770 in addition to the stock seat belts.
Handling
The front of the car has a full champ car fiber mesh splitter - $5000, which was bought through the Dodge racing committee (not generally sold to the public) and a weighted custom rear wing - $3000 which is adjustable. Both these help with significant additional down force on the vehicle when reaching the higher speeds 140 kph+. You can actually feel the car squat down and will not float.
IPSCO short throw shifter ($450) - The IPSCO Short Throw Shifter (STS), is designed to reduce the distance your hand needs to move to engage the next gear, thus reducing the amount of time spent shifting, reducing wasted time between shifts, and resulting in improved performance.
Stereo
Installed navigation gps stereo system - $1495
Also numerous cosmetic upgrades over stock too many to list all but approximately another $4000.
- dash overlay
-stainless steel trim kit
-stainless steel fender emblems
-stainless steel license plate frame
-laser diamond rear grills
-laser diamond front and hood grills
weighted shifter knob ($500)
Exceptional value - In total approximately $60,000 USD was spent in upgrades to this car!
A complete car history with detailed receipts will be provided, names and contacts of individuals who worked on the vehicle – all professionals.
This exceptional car has been always stored in a heated dry garage.
