1998 was the introduction of Ferrari race derived F-1 transmission in a vehicle available to the public. This would forever change the direction of the market for high performance exotic cars.
F-1: Is it a manual or automatic? BOTH: The device from Magneti Marelli operates on the manual transmission of a car in the same way as the driver would: it opens and closes the clutch, engages and disengages the gears and, when necessary, it also controls the choice of transmission (automatic or sequential mode for changing gear).
Whether you want the feeling of clicking up and down through the gears like Michael Schumacher or age or injury no longer allows you to use a clutch, the F-1 does it all!
