Description
Somebody needs to buy this car soon before I ship it to CA and sell her for what she's truly worth2001 Ferrari F1 Spider. 30k Belt service done in 2014. Many upgrades, never tracked.
Bridgestone Potenzas, New Battery, Carbon Fiber Engine Bay Liners, Chromed
Ferrari Wheels, Shields, 'Red Stuff' Brake Pads, BMC Air Filters, Clear Bra on
Front/Hood/Mirrors/Rear Deck Lid and other 'high' areas (That should be
replaced on the front boot lid and bumper cover, has a few blisters, paint underneath is perfect however). Capristo Headers and Race
Cats into a Tubi system, Yellow Special Edition Tach with Schumacher badge.
Incredible Machine, I'll honestly give the paint (Under the bra that is) a solid 9.3. However she is NOT Perfect! Clutch is at about 50%. The Passenger side mirror hardware is
stripped and needs correction, there are some tool marks on the passenger side
door panel from the shop that did the belts in 2014 (seat removal I assumenot happy bout it but it is what it is). The dash pad has a few wrinkles and the
knobs are all sticky (both typical Ferrari issues with these models). The
Ashtray lid/hinge is broken and the radio doesn't work (I bought it knowing about both
of those issues btw). Paid 90k for her in 2011 and added the upgrades through the years. The Top functions perfectly but has a gasket mark on the Left side from stowing. Regardless, I've reduced the price substantially to reflect these issues, this car is
incredible and gets more attention that I ever dreamed it would, plus the
exhaust note is truly like an F1 car honestly when you run the revs, but I've honestly only done that bout 20% of the time while owning her (Never, ever tracked). Most of the miles I've put on are from longer road trips to VT (5 times) and Chicago (twice) and back, highway miles. Again, an incredible machine, has spent every winter in a ventilated 'Bubble' since I have owned her. I have all 3 sets of keys including the red master Fob btw. All service records come with her of course. San Diego car originally, service at 'Eugenios' there, serviced yearly now (since 2011') by Black Forest Motor Sports in Buffalo, NY. You can call 'Jason' there to confirm. I will fly home and get her professionally detailed prior to the sale. I usually do this yearly but haven't had time this year (I live in CA). Enclosed shipping from San Diego to Rochester, NY in 2011 was about $1600, so gauge your shipping on that. Absolutely hate selling this incredible machine, but I simply don't have the time to give her anymoreshe needs a 'New Daddy' now. This is truly the best deal on Ebay (or probably anywhere) for a car of this value and caliber. Not a sacrifice sale but reduced substantially because I have to go overseas soon for several years and leaving her in storage is truly not ok! Somebody needs to enjoy the 'Ferrari Experience', especially with this one!
