Ferrari 308 Mondial 8 Coupe NO RESERVE!!
Rare, 703 models built. Replaced 308 GT4 at the Geneva Salon in 1980. Coupe, 2+2 configuration. V8 cylinder 205 bhp 6000rpm. Mondial was the first fuel injected Ferrari instead of carbs ( Bosch, K-Jetronic ) Was the work of Pininfarina with its lines & curves. This particular model was designed as a daily executive driver.
Engine has been rebuilt. Must be inspected to appreciate extensive work performed. From 2 valve engine to all other mechanical components replaced. Willing to allow purchaser to have car inspected at their cost. I must be present.
Custom stainless exhaust. Rebuilt fuse box, 17 ' Speedlines on Michelin Pilot tires & disc brakes.
Red on leather tan interior. Has been repainted prior to purchase (2005) Paint in considerable good condition with deep shine . However, there are some dents, scratches & bubbles beginning to form. Drivers door has a 3 inch scratch, 3 inch dent.
No tears in seats. However, tear in leather dash above instrument gauges. Both interior headliner & carpet seem to be original. Headliner being light in colour, shows some dirt. Obviously driving with sunroof open. Carpet shows clean. Some glue has come undone.
Pwr sunroof, windows, mirrors, locks, antenna, ac, rack pinion steering.
Pwr windows slow, locks & antenna not working.
Ferrari in very good running condition with fantastic sound.
No problems with clutch. Transmission shifts smooth with no issues.
Ferrari belonged to a family member. This project of mechanical restoration began in August 2005 when purchased from Atlanta, Georgia. Although I have some bills/invoices. Unfortunately, they do not compare with the many mechanical components replaced.
True classic 33 yrs young. Car is being sold as is condition with no warranty.
Purchaser is responsible for all shipping & transportation costs. Seller reserves the right to end early as listed locally.
Current selling price, does not reflect amount invested.
Not a garage queen, but definitely great head start for Ferrari enthusiast. Please feel free to ask any questions & or concerns.
