1979 Fiat 124 Spider 2000

Listed is my 1979 Fiat 124 Spider 2000 designed by Pininfarina. This example is a mechanically good running driver with many new parts that could benefit from a body and paint refresh since the paintwork is showing signs of an older refurbishment as seen in photos. The doors are from a solid donor car which is why the color does not match. This Spider lived in Alabama prior to coming to PA in 2002. The undercarriage, pan/floors and trunk appear solid throughout - see pics. The 1.8 Liter, twin cam 4 cylinder engine easily cold or warm starts, idles, revs, like it should with no signs of oil leaks or smoke. 5 speed gearbox and mechanical clutch operate properly. New parts include: KYB Gas shocks front and rear, new inner and outer tie rod ends, control arm bushings, ball joints, brake calipers, centric pads, hoses/lines, master cylinder. Brake system needs to be pressure bled as there is no pedal pressure after replacing all brake components in system. Emergency brake works great which is enough for moving the car around. Also newly replaced: New tires mounted on refinished iron cross factory rims (2 center caps missing), heater control valve, ignition tune up kit, and carpet kit - all receipts. Two barrel Weber carburetor. Fairly new tan top with good, clear rear plastic window. Included is an uninstalled complete and rare A/C system - all components as seen in the pictures. Other extra parts also included (photos). Brightwork, and glass in good condition. Interior complete and in good overall condition. Front seats have covers as original covering seat material is splitting on driver side. Factory door panels missing. Previous owner fabricated panels out of a wood composite which could be vinyl/leather covered to create a finished look. Power windows (driver side is slow), exterior and instruments/lighting functional. Alpine cassette Head Unit/speakers. 2 sets of keys.
