Description
Really smart Fiat Grande Punto, 3 doors, with sporting Multijet trim. This means that it has leather seats with a white piping trim, leather steering wheel, brushed metal effect dashboard and aluminium style pedals. Also has 17" alloy wheels, of which only one has light damage (not bad for its age!!!).
Last serviced by Fiat dealership in June 2014, with all previous services completed by Fiat. I bought the car from the dealership last year, and they serviced it, touched up the stone chips in the paint and put new tyres on it. It had a new battery fitted 6 months ago, and at its MOT 2 weeks ago it had new brake calipers fitted and one new tyre. It has 12 months MOT on it now, with no advisories, and given the new battery and brake parts, should be good in these areas for quite a few miles now.
Given that it is an older model, it still has some really nice additional features which they still install on brand new Punto's now. It has an inbuilt Windows Media system (called BlueandMe) which means that you have Bluetooth phone connectivity with steering wheel controls, and voice commands. The media part of it is best explained by their website - but this extract from it should give you the idea:
Blue&Me offers you non-stop listening and a customisable selection of your multimedia files (music tracks, podcasts, texts) without risking your safety.
Easy as inserting your multimedia player or USB memory stick in the USB port positioned inside the car. Easy as connecting to the USB port your iPod or iPhone.
With a touch on the steering wheel buttons or a short voice command, you can consult the Media Player menu and organize the playing by Artists, Genres, Albums, Play lists or search for a single track. With the same rapidity you can control the volume, put it in stand-by, change the sound source.
So in a nutshell, it means that you can play your music through the steering wheel or voice commands in a whole range of formats.
This is a really good deal to pick up a nice looking, sporty car. It is quite light and has two steering wheel options (so normal, or city steer) meaning you can make it more responsive for parking etc, and has very good acceleration given the mutlijet 1.9 engine. I have also always found it very reasonable on fuel usage.
