Description

I've decided to part with my 1967 Ford Bronco. This is a running driving Bronco that will make someone a nice driver. It is 52 years old, it was built December 1966 in Michigan. It came with a 289ci engine that as far as I can tell is still the same engine it left the factory with. As decoded by the vin, it has always been the U-100 Wagon, meaning full travel top and doors. It's still running a 3 speed manual transmission that's been converted from column shift to floor shift via a Hurst Shifter. It shifts great and all linkage seems tight.
Originally it was blue and has been painted the yellowish creamish color it is now sometime quite awhile back. The paint is nothing to write home about, it's there and is driver quality at best.
The good news is, the body is extremely rust free and is not full of patch panels. When underneath of the truck with a good flashlight, there is no evidence of rust repair or patch panels. The floors are all in tact and look original. I don't see any evidence the rockers have been replaced, all body mounts and supports are rust free. I'm not saying there's not rust in places that are hidden, but the normal areas all look real good. Looking in the wheel well openings there is no rust and all metal looks original and un replaced. Pretty amazing for one of these.
The hood has had a hole cut in it for a hood scoop. It does the job but as far as I'm conserned ruined the hood. A person would be better off finding one thats not been cut up. The windshield frame and doors look rust free too.
This thing runs like a sowing machine, nice and smooth like a 289 should. It makes good power and goes down the road nice. It still has drum brakes on the front and rear. Included is everything needed to convert to power brakes. All new parts. It already has been converted to power steering, which works excellent. The Bronco looks to have a slight suspension lift, I would say 4" or less. The shocks are also fairly new. This was all done before I bought it. The tires are not very old and have few miles on them.
The front seats are originals and were reupholstered sometime back. The rear seat folds down and appears to be made for a Bronco. Not completely sure though. The center console has an am fm cd player in it that works great. The speedometer works, heater works, fuel gauge, oil pressure, water temp all works, turns signals work and cancel, headlights and marker lights all work. Windshield wipers work on both speeds. It has dual exhaust, sounds real nice, does not smoke, the clutch seems nice and tight, 4 wheel drive works as it should. There's no cracks in the glass. The dash pad is missing. New ones are available.
Included are a bunch of extra parts. New suspension bushings, new set of bronco headers. It currently has manifolds on it. Original Ford 4bbl intake manifold, brake parts mentioned earlier, miscellaneous speedometers, door hinges, latches etc etc.
The original vin tag on drivers kick panel is in place. The vin matches the title. The odometer shows 15,434, your guess is as good as mine what the miles are.
I can seem to only list 24 pictures on here so if there are areas a person wants to see, i'm happy to crawl all over it and send as many pics as wanted. I've already taken a bunch of the undercarriage.
I'm sure there's a bunch of stuff i'm forgetting to mention.
If you are looking for a complete driver quality Bronco you can drive and restore as you go, this is a great one. And you won't have to take out a second mortgage on your house to buy it. Any questions please ask before bidding! If you want to make an offer and buy it before the auction is offer, get ahold of me. It's for sale locally as well. Buyer is responsible for any shipping charges. I'm happy to work with your shipper, i've done it before. As is where is no warranties.
Happy bidding and Merry Christmas!! If i'm still allowed to say that haha.
