Description
Excellent 1980 Ford Bronco--Collector's Dream! 4 Speed!
The chassis is dry and absolutely rust-free. Power is strong, the 4-speed manual shifts smoothly, the clutch is fine, as are the brakes. It drives straight down the freeway and stops predictably with no fade. Shifts are slick and smooth.
Extensive maintenance was recently done to get her running smooth and strong (Major tune-up and carburetor rebuild and fine adjustments.) Lots of power through all the revs. Passed California smog in December! (Registration current.)
The body is straight with minor dents and (almost no) dings and a little surface rust on the roof--a great candidate for a respray. There is absolutely no rust-through or cancer. (Nothing in the "usual spots". (No bubbles) The original interior is shabby, but clean and straightforward. The carpet has been removed as well as the door and trunk panels--those surfaces have been rhino-lined. The frame is dry and rust free (Well-kept in California!)
This Bronco comes with a factory-optional roll bar also.
All the glass is good, the manual-crank windows are a hoot to use, and the power rear window works fine by the dash switch and the outside key switch.
The suspension is sound and the truck sits on 32" tires, on nice chrome rims. There is plenty of clearance. The original mud fender liners are in very good shape.
The convertible top removes and riding around in the open air is a priceless experience.
*AC works--freon has been replaced with R134.
Included in the sale are a set of door gaskets.
Buyer responsible for shipping. Can assist with meeting the shipper.
