1979 Ford Bronco – 1,506 miles

For sale is our complete, frame-off restoration project, named #Project1979. This Bronco was built with no expense spared and has been featured in national publications. Being a custom build, we were able to take certain liberties with the project. For example, Bronco enthusiasts will notice that this build features the more desirable, round headlights from the 1978 model. These have been updated with an LED conversion. Starting with the frame, we had it sandblasted and powder coated and all frame hardware is grade 8 Armor Coat bolts. The build was completed with factory sheet metal. The engine is the factory 460, built to a 514 with approximately 700 naturally aspirated, horsepower. Used CVF 8-Rib front runner kit. The Bronco has power brakes and power steering with cooler and remote reservoir. We used a Fitech 800-hp-rated fuel injection package. We also added a 3-core aluminum radiator with upgraded heavy duty engine mount kit, and 4,000 cfm dual electric fan. Fitech fuel pump is in the 33-gallon plastic fuel tank. All fuel lines and brake lines are steel, braided. Power is delivered through a rebuilt C6 transmission with a 2800 stall converter and factory, rebuilt transfer case. Exhaust is a 3” stainless system with Borla stainless steel mufflers. Brakes are 4-wheel-disk. Suspension is finely tune with James Duff Torque Tamer traction bar, James Duff shocks, James Duff extended long travel radius arms, James Duff radius arm, heavy duty, c-caps. The exterior has all-new weather stripping, custom fitted step bars, matte black lower half for modern look but retro nod. Custom, 3D printed “1979” badge on front grille. Interior is complete with custom built and wrapped interior side panels, TMI leather seats, TMI leather console with cup holders, Vintage Air AC, upgraded gauge panel, upgraded steering shaft with stainless steel column, Retro Sound upgraded radio with hidden amplifier.
