1980 Ford Capri mk3 2.0S

1980 Ford Capri 2.0S with KAT bodykit is a runner but in need of refurbishment, I have owned this car for the past 28 years.It requires some welding on offside rear front spring hanger area / nearside rear lower corner panel and to finish off fitting nearside sill, all parts supplied to repair.The car is supplied with a brand new interior, cobra front sport recliners and rear bench covered in same material, cost over £1200 for the seats, the old passenger fishnet recaro is present, it also has new carpet and underlay to fit and door seals and many other parts, refurbished fuel tank and stainless steel straps, new sportek exhaust system fitted, the engine is modified with twin 40 Webber carbs and uprated cam and currently runs on a lead additive to petrol.I will be very sad to see her go but I just do not have the time to work on her, I have spent lots of money on her over the years and could never bare to sell her but she needs to be refurbished and used as its a shame to just have the car sitting on my drive. There are other rust areas that need attention but this will be part of any refurbishment carried out, the structure of the car is fair considering it is 34 years old, the mileage is genuine miles. The car can be viewed given enough notice and is bought as seen knowing that work is required. The brakes have been overhauled and now have 2.8i front discs, new rear cylinders. The car has no current MOT and was last on the road in 2005 for the Capri National event, it will need to be driven onto a trailer in order to be taken away as it has no MOT even though it is a runner.
