ford capri v6 73 LHD Cologne built driven on sundays 12731 hard race miles only

ford capri LHD race car or street car matching no,s car built in germany at the cologne factory and shipped to the usa in nov. 1973 purchased california and registered there and driven to the race meeting as was common in the day. raced in club level motorsport, circuit races, motorkana, hillclimbs bitumen rallies and even drag raced, hence the nitrous kit, does not have a rollcage. It has a "built" 2.6 litre v6 motor bored and stroked with many offenhauser parts, manifolds rocker covers etc etc. it starts runs and and performs well. 4 speed box and heavy duty clutch, the holley 600 was just fully rebuilt by thornbury carbies due to sitting since 2013. it has custom alloy fuel tank in spare wheel compartment, bilstien adjustable suspension, alloy race radiator,mallory ignition and tacho, the no,s bottles were removed on import due to restrictions,rest of kit still fitted,. interior is clean and tidy looks like german scheel racing seats, probably original. the harnesses have been removed as they were years out of date. it was retired from racing in about 1985 rego was still kept up to 2013 when i purchased it as the owner used to go for a blast through the mountains in california occassionly. i had it shipped to australia around 2015. as a race car it is a great looking car but its had its share of biffs and bashes( all repaired) car can easily be put back on road and registered, but paintwork is not a 10 out of 10 concourse show car job, just a neat and tidy with some minor blemishes here and there.all stickers are easily removable. would be pretty light with the fiberglass guards and bumpers front and rear, etc ,new windscreen and all new rubbers fitted. bad points are, the bottom of the exhaust headers have rusted out and need fixing,the lights arent working as plug for lights has shorted out, easy fix. app. for inspection call 0418990789 only between 10am and 10pm. auction will run to end, thankyou. $500 dep within 24 hours. bids with under 10 feedback will be cancelled due to previous problems.tnks.On 27-Aug-21 at 22:21:21 AEST, seller added the following information:ENGINE PIC NOW SHOWING.
