Ford V8 Capri unfinished project car

The car was originally a 4 cylinder, now with a Ford Boss 302 motor with 4 speed top loader gearbox fitted.. Work was professionally completed by Twin Cam Motors of Seaford. This does not have a V8 sub-chassis fitted but has extra reinforcement cross members, Falcon front disc brakes and Fairlane drum brakes on a narrowed 9" LSD rear axle. At the moment the motor runs with a Holley carburettor but a new Sprintex compressor (supplied) with drive components from the crankshaft pulley was ready to be fitted. The body was prepared by a panel beater and undercoated but has had a few dents since then in storage that need to be repaired. Chrome, trim, windows etc have been kept, alternative front seats were ready to go in but a new back seat will be needed as well as door trims and roof lining. Professionally built extractors and complete exhaust system look great. Four new tyres are fitted to Falcon wheels. The car was intended to be a little white sleeper, no fat tyres or stripes that would blow away Porches in the Grand Prix Rally. Unfortunately time went and now it has to be sold. Besides the initial car, building costs were over twice the starting price. The car can be seen at Bittern, near Hastings, Victoria.
