1968 Mk2 Cortina 2door Fleet model,This is a recent LHD import,
This car has been dry barn stored for many many years and is virtually totally original and it has Never been welded,
All the window and door rubber seals etc are still as new,
The car does need light restoration but what you see is what you get nothing hidden here,
The car is amazingly solid with excellent inner wings (slight blowing to offside side rail) and being an export model it has the factory fitted Lotus top mounts and under wing saddles,
Excellent front + slam + headlamp panels and chassis rails (all rust free),
Bulkhead + scuttle + plenum etc all rust free,
A pillars + floors + jacking points + outriggers + under floor chassis all rust free,
Under seat floor + boot floor + rear tubs + boot wells all rust free,
Rear panel + valance + rear scuttle all rust free,
Rear chassis rails are excellent apart from small repair need to offside over axle section (approx 4" repair),
Offside rear jacking point is excellent nearside rear needs small repair,
Roof is excellent and dent free,
Bonnet boot and doors are all mint and rust free, (this is the best bonnet I have ever seen),
Rear quarters are nice and straight but do need local repairs to the arches and one very small repair to nearside lower rear,
Front wings and sills need replacing but I do have excellent used wings and new gen ford wings and also gen ford sills available separate,
The original red interior is really nice as is the headlining as is the mint rubber carpet,
This is a very very easy 2door project and being a Fleet model it is quite rare in itself,
It would also make a perfect donor shell for your damaged or rusty Lotus seeing as it is already a factory strengthened export shell, (would only need the rear tramp/radius arm bracket fitting to chassis) and I do have a pair of these available separate,

I do also have a fully rebuilt L block Lotus twincam engine available + a complete Mk2 Lotus rear axle with tramp bars + a 2000E gearbox (all separate from this sale of course),
