Hello ! ,
Up for sale is a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria Interceptor . Formerly of the City of Batavia Il . Unit is white in color , has been repainted by former owner , I believe this was a Black and White unit , before being repainted . I don't know how long ago it was repainted, but look pretty good for what it is . Unit original was used in the The Police Dept , then transferred to the water Dept . and that is when it was probably repainted. Unit has the usual amount of scrapes and dinks , the City took off as best they could all markings , but you can still make out the City stickers on the doors and fenders.
The car runs nice and quiet , burns no oil or water, rides nice , steers and stops without any problems , the is in de3cent shape for a car going on 17 years old , I did my best on cleaning it , and it looks ok , the rubber mat would just not clean up any more than it is ,
Every thing works on this car , spotlight , Lights, flashers, gauges Wipers,Air blows cold heater blows hot , radio works , all windows go up and down , and the doors lock unlock., except for the right rear door which does not open , took off the door panel , and could not make it work . All glass is good , no chips scratches , or cracks .
The tires are in good shape and have good thread left on them , The Exhaust is quiet as well . In the trunk in a Package rack slider which holds the spare tire ( Sorry no jack) and it also has a storage box with cover in the well.
The absolute worst thing about this car is the steering wheel , it is pretty chewed up , but still workable . It could use a good cover .
All in all this is a pretty decent car if you are looking for a Kids car , second daily driver , or just a winter beater , this car should fit the bill .
