Description
E-350 passenger van. 5.4 engine. Bought the van in November (20,000 miles ago) for my airport shuttle service but really need the extended version for luggage. New Michelins, front calipers, rotors, pads and hoses, new A/C compressor. New front shocks.Original complete exhaust. I have the rear seat for it (not pictured). Seats 11 plus the driver. Drives great, hot heat, cold air.
Minor exhaust tick coming from manifold (broken stud). Driver door leaks when you take it thru the car wash but not during rain storms. Faint church lettering outline from some decals that I removed. It may buff out. There’s a minor electrical issue that I never tackled (radio gets power but doesn’t turn on, cigarette lighters don’t work, and temp gauge doesn’t work). I think these three issues are all related because they are all right next to each other on the dash, but I’ve never pulled the dash apart to investigate. I do have another instrument cluster that comes with the van in case that’s the cause, but it came from another 2004 Ford van that I just junked with 540,000 miles on it so I didn’t want to install that. Not sure if the mileage is stored in the cluster or the computer so didn’t want to scare anyone. That’s all I can think of that’s wrong with it, which is pretty good for a 2004. I got the CARFAX when I bought the van in November and it was clean. It was a Florida van for the first part of its life, then to Ohio for 4 years as a church van, now in South Carolina.
