Here we have the very reluctant sale of my standard S2 RS Turbo. I have owned it for 18 months and have loved every minute but unfortunately due to losing my storage for the car it has to go.
I am only the 4th owner and the car has covered a genuine 94000. I have lots of receipts from the cars history which backs up the mileage.
It comes with Tax until November and it has recently been MOT'd. with no advisories.
Since owning the car i have completed a lot of work to bring it up to the condition its in now.This includes renewing the inner and outer sills on both sides so the underneath is solid.
The RS comes with Koni adjustable shocks and along with the new Yokohama Parada tyres handles really well for its age.The front end has been polybushed along with new TCA's .The alloy wheels have also recently been refurbished.
The car is totally standard apart from the Magnex stainless steel exhaust.One of the reasons i bought this RS was because it was standard and had not been messed about like most others have.(It even comes with the standard radio/casette player with code)
The interior is in really good condition.The drivers seat bolster material has just started to come apart (about 2 inches long) and can be easily repaired.The passenger seat has a cigarette burn in the side of the bolster, these were on my bucket list of things to be done over winter.The back seats are like new.There are no holes in the dashboard and everything is standard.
The RS bodywork is generally in very good condition and polishes up really well. It has been resprayed in its past and there are imperfections in the paint so don,t expect a concours car.There are the usual issues with bubbling on the roof but the sunroof tilts and slides as it should.There is also some rust on the drivers rear quarter just underneath the glass. Again these were on the list of jobs to do.
The engine is really strong and pulls really well
I have tried to be as honest as possible in the description of the RS. One of the reasons for buying it was as an investment and the value of these cars is increasing all the time.
This is a really good example of a standard S2 RS Turbo and i will be gutted to see it go!!!
