Description
1966 Ford Falcon Deluxe Club Wagon Van
Econoline E100 body style with the very rarely seen extended rear end (Deluxe is 18” longer than the standard version). It has good glass all the way around (Club Wagon).
4,500 miles on remanufactured Ford 300 cu.in. straight six engine.
New HEI ignition, larger engine, beefier suspension, and more comfortable and safer seats with seatbelts.
Starts right up, runs well, has current registration, NY inspection, insurance.
Engine:
Newly remanufactured engine installed in 2018 with 300 cu.in. Ford (same block as the 240 cu.in. it was originally sold with, but with a longer stroke, slightly different head design). Very torquey.
New Weber 38/38 DGAS double barrel synchronous carburetor with manual choke. K&N air cleaner. Set of adjustment jets for the carb included.
Performance Distributor D.U.I. Davis Unified Ignition distributor, model 39820BL HEI magnetic distributor with mechanical advance. Spare cap with built in coil, and dyna module included.
ME Wagner adjustable PCV valve
Engine Cooling:
Flowkooler 1630 water pump,
Robertshaw 300 series thermostat.
SPAL 2049 40 Amp puller fan with custom sheet metal shroud on Champion aluminum radiator.
SPAL 185 deg. temperature sensor switch with fan relay.
You will notice in the photos a custom air scoop that ports the wind into the radiator. These mid engine vans were always cramped in the doghouse and had inadequate airflow to cool the radiator. This solves that by channeling the wind into the face of the radiator.
Transmission:
Automatic three speed Ford Green Dot transmission, shift lever on column. The shift lever has two Drive positions, one with a green dot. The green dot position causes the transmission to start in second gear from a stop, to avoid peeling out on ice or sand.
New Torque converter installed in 2018.
Electrical:
Fully rewired with labeled wiring harness and AGM fusebox. All gauges working correctly, except the ammeter because it is is bypassed from the alternator.
Powermaster 125 amp alternator.
Low pressure electric fuel pump (appropriate for Weber carb).
Optima yellow top AGM battery
When Grant walnut steering wheel was installed, a new turn signal switch and horn button were installed. All function as they should.
Suspension:
New 7 leaf rear leaf springs (originally came with 6 leaf springs)
New 6 leaf front leaf springs (with an Add-A-Leaf for stiffer ride in the front end)
New shocks, including performance gas shocks in the front.
New rear wheel bearings and drum brakes.
New U-joints, balanced drive shaft.
Interior:
Full set of interior fiberglass window surrounds, in very good condition.
Front seats from a BMW 328i with custom welded frames to fit above the wheel wells.
Rear seats from a Mercedes R350, with adjustable bases bolted through floor. Seats can easily be removed to make room for a mattress or cargo.
RetroBelt 3 point Shoulder seat belts for all four seats with mounting points welded to body.
Grant 201 Walnut and chrome 3 spoke steering wheel.
The floor of the van and engine compartment doghouse need sheet metal repair work.
Exterior:
Blue metallic paint in fair condition, looks decent from 10 feet away. Bodywork has been done on several spots, and there are a few issues that will need attention.
Paint is peeling around the recessed gas cap. Look closely at the pictures.
Rare Ford branded West Coast Mini side mirrors installed.
Frame and body:
Though the exterior body is in decent shape (except for the few spots that need repair), the floor of the van near the front wheels and behind the back wheels and the doghouse (engine compartment) need to be patched or replaced. The floor panels are rusted through in front of the drivers seat, and behind the rear wheel on the driver’s side. The doghouse has small sections cut on both sides to allow enough room for the carburetor and the distributor. The distributor side is capped, and the carb side is currently open.
Extensive frame rust repair and stiffening crossbars have been added. The frame has been capped and reinforced with tubular steel in the front and rear.
Extras: Included in the sale but not installed:
D&D front disc brake conversion kit: Complete Kit- Discs and calipers, Master cylinder, external reservoir ($850 value)
Full Aluminum trim arrows for the exterior of the van. Original holes for mounting were filled when the van was repainted. The trim kit was not re-installed, but is complete.
Full set of new rubber door seals for rear and side doors. ($120 value)
Full set of window moldings and rubber trim to completely restore the weatherstripping, window tracks, and triangular vent window seats on the driver and passenger front doors. ($300 value)
Original front door interior vinyl trim panels with chrome surrounds, in good shape.
4 sets of stainless steel hinge pins, to replace existing hinge pins on side and rear doors, to improve alignment of doors.

Must sell, as I am losing my parking. For a reasonable fee, I can meet you somewhere outside of New York City for the vehicle pick-up.
Thanks for looking. Serious offers only please.
