Description

Ford E-Series Van. VIN E34GHE31454 Ford Econoline E-300 Supervan, Campervan, one owner, white, runs well, no rust. I ordered this Supervan from the factory and bought it in December, 1968 in Charlotte, NC, The truck has been garaged virtually its whole life and has been a Southern vehicle except for one year (I walked to work.)
The engine is a 302 cu.in. V-8, Three speed transmission. Limited slip differential. 3.51 rear axle (to lower engine RPMs).
183,700 miles on the engine which runs fine.
Supervan means it has a long wheel base. E-300 means it is a one ton truck. 8 lugs to each wheel.
New drag links, tie rod ends, Pittman arm bushing. New water pump and harmonic balancer. New radiator and hoses. New seat upholstery. Four new shock absorbers. New seat belts and shoulder harnesses.
The camper bed is 90" long (10" longer than a king size bed). The bed is 33" wide and extends to 49" wide.
There is a propane stove, a sink with gravity fed water faucet. The paneling is antique elm. The walls and ceiling have 1" styrofoam.
There is a big storage area under the bed. The propane tank is under the van. There was a furnace in the side door, but it is gone.
The carpet is old. The padded dash is scratched and the padded engine cover is cracked.
The clutch, which works fine, is original. If I were keeping the van, I'd replace the clutch and, the easy to do at that time, rear main seal.
The tires are not new, but only have 1,000 miles on them.
There may be a small rain water leak in the left front from either the windshield or the wind wing. (It hasn't been out in the rain in a long time.)
Radio doesn't work; antenna broken.
