Description
1966 Ford Econoline E100 Van
Everything that is new or rebuilt was done by me in 1998. I then drove the van approximately 800 miles and it has been parked ever since. It has been stored in a temperature and humidity controlled environment the entire time I have owned it.
-New rebuilt 289 V8-Rebuilt automatic transmission-New motor mounts
-New coil-New spark plugs
-New spark plug wires
-New oil filter-New air filter
-New alternator
-New distributor
-New starter
-New dual exhaust
-New chrome wheels
-New BF Goodrich radial tires 245/60R14
-New 2" trailer hitch ball
Lots more new stuff installed in 1998. Too much to list.
16569 miles on odometer, but doubt that is actual.
The van is fully insulated floor, ceiling, walls, and doors. This combined with carpet makes for a quiet ride. Ran when last parked 23 years ago. It drove very nice. Steering tight. Brakes solid. Exhaust had a good sound (subtle but definitely the rumble of a V8.The last piece I didn't get cleaned up before parking was the air cleaner housing. I blasted and painted the air cleaner cover Ford Blue, but never made it to the housing.I have not found any body work. So the body is all original as far as I can tell.Checked the gas before listing. It looked bad, so I didn't start the motor. Tank and lines may need flushed.
Comes with 4 extra wheels and tires. Not sure if they are original wheels, but they appear to have been painted dark gray (almost black).
Comes with a multitude of extra new engine gaskets.
Comes with the original transmission shifter to return it back to stock should the next owner desire such.
The foot throttle is a cover. The original is in tact and functioning underneath it.
This vehicle is not guaranteed or warrantied in any way.
