I've only run zerex elc since the new cooling equipment has been in, I flushed everything to remove any possible silicate build up. Between that in the egr "trick", oil cooler failure is nearly eliminated from known 6.0 issues.
Firewall and doghouse have been insulated for sound with butyl rubber sheeting
2 new group 65 batteries
Snow Tires
When the motor was apart, everything went in the parts cleaner, for a couple days, and them scrubbed and cleaned throughly. All gaskets were oem, and every surface was prepped and cleaned. I planned on keeping this van for a long time, and did not spare expense.
I also have the auto enginuity software and obd2 to USB cord, I will gladly give you any readings that you ask for. Currently there are 2 codes, one because I replaced the electric fan clutch with a 7.3 mechanical fan clutch, one for the A/C. I have the egr code turned off through the tuner. The tunes are all written for the egr "trick"
The rust is mostly where I cut out rust and welded new steel in, the is no active rust with rot that I am aware of on the van. I got the rockers from rock auto. I intended to grind the welds down, and putty and sand, things got busy, summers are short in VT.
Clean title in hand.
The van has the divider, but does not have shelves, when it runs, it runs great, I noticed this problem started after it warmed up to running temp and was shut off, I'd have to wait about an hour and it would start. I dont have the time, space or tools to work on this. I also have the auto engnuity software with OBD2 to USB cable. If you'd like me to run certain tests or give you certain readings, please ask.
Reverse lights and horn are currently wired to switches on the dash, never got around to checking out the back up lights, the horn will need a new clock spring to function as intended.
I'm sure I am forgetting a ton of stuff, i have over 8k in receipts more then 10k into it, no reserve. The van is for sale locally and mileage may go up slightly.
Van is sold as is, currently considered not running, although it may fire up and drive fine. Vehicle is currently listed locally as well, I have the right to end this auction at any time if the vehicle is sold.
