Description
Bought this van a few years ago to be used as a adventure van for my family to hit the mountains in.Right after buying it I had my mechanic go through the whole thing so that it would be reliable.
The engine was rebuilt before we bought it. I had my mechanic call the person who did it and he was comfortable with what he heard.
New factory rebuilt Ford HD transmission
New Goodyear Duratrac Tires
New injectors
New carpet
Sound deadening in floor, walls, and doghouse.
Many new front end parts.
Speed lined the bottom quarter panels
New Warn hubs
Alternator
Vacuum pump
This van runs well and starts great. It has been garage kept since we have owned it. We initially bought this for mountain treks and trips but we soon liked the room and cool factor of the 4x4 van enough that we are going to sell this van and our daily driver and buy a new 4x4 van. It is a beast that will go about anywhere you point it. We used this van on long road trips and would not hesitate to do so.
Please note the odometer sticks ever 10,000 miles, it says 115k but is probably closer to 150-175K, not really sure.
The passenger rear plastic panel is missing.
The plastic part of the ignition where you insert the key falls off from time to time.
Overall it is in Good shape and is a fun van to cruise around in.
