We've used this Excursion to tow our 32ft travel trailer on summer family vacations, but other than that, it's just been used as a daily driver. The prior owner didn't tow much either. We got rid of our trailer and don't need the power anymore. The transmission has been rock solid. I've never seen it get over 180 deg. F.
Other Notes:
Stereo not connected to steering wheel controls or overhead screen
It has a slight vibration over 65MPH (not sure if this is a drive shaft balance issue or alignment/tire issue)
Small oil leak above the cylinder heads (head gaskets are fine). 4-5 drips per day
Contact me if you have a diesel mechanic that you would like to go over it (I can do a FaceTime if he's not in the Atlanta area), or if you have any requests for more pictures of if you'd like a video of the engine running or anything.
I can also provide name/number of the diesel mechanic that did the bullet proofing
