2004 Ford Excursion XLT V10 4x4 Nine Seats / Nine Passenger with Grey Cloth Interior. Original Non-Smoking Owner & Passengers.
Purchased in October 2003 when I lived in Pennsylvania to drive my large family in. Nothing bigger that I cared for so I knew day one I would have this for quite some time and took extremely good care of it. There are many upgrades to this King of the SUV's. This version has the 4.30 ratio rear so it can tow at least 10,000 lbs. I planned on getting a travel trailer and camping, however the wife had other ideas of how to vacation; in nice time shares and suites so the most it has towed was a 600 lbs aluminum trailer and a ton of pellets for my pellet stove for a few months in the winter when we lived up north. Garage Kept until I moved to Florida about six years ago then it has been under a car port when not being used daily. It has about 225,000 miles but is in very nice condition for its age and was meticulously maintained. I have a ton of service records and I used 5W-20 Mobil One advanced full synthetic oil and haven't had any troubles with the engine. Multiple Genuine Ford transmission fluid and transmission filter changes and Genuine Ford Coolant Changes. May 2017 Drain and filled the coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluids. Also had new factory brakes and shocks, drive shaft, all installed in rear with warranties. Replaced the plugs with Genuine Ford Plugs. The coil packs have been replaced with a lifetime warranty version at Auto Zone. Newer battery is still under warranty. Drilled and slotted rotors were installed (I absolutely love these for improved braking and wear and tear). New arms for the trunk with lifetime warranty from Auto Zone also. New serpentine belt still under warranty and was done as a preventive measure. The older one is included as well. The technical bulletin procedure for the air conditioner was done. The engine still runs extremely smooth. They stopped making the original tires that came with it, and I recently purchased new Michelin tires from Costco and they run wonderfully quieter than the original tires. If you aren't familiar with Costco's customer service then you should get to know them, they are the best place to buy anything. Carpets and seats up front are good but the back seats and carpets need some deep cleaning love. (Updated I've been cleaning them and they're coming out quite nice) They don't have any rips or tears and neither does the headliner. It really is in great condition for its age, of course it is used so it has various tiny stone chips and some small scratches, tiny rust spots inside drivers door on bottom but none of these goes completely through the metal. Ford service also did a multi-point complete inspection and agreed needs nothing now. Please examine all the photos and read the description before bidding.Replaced AM/FM Stock Radio with a nice Kenwood CD-Player so does not use Cassettes anymore but does allow for input of USB and Aux inputs for iphones etc. Many other purchased items I'm forgetting have lifetime warranties through Auto Zone and Advanced Auto (brake pads, all four shocks, etc also included, i like the ride of the factory shocks better so I paid for those in the rear too). I will assist in arranging a convenient pickup time that works for both of us as well as helping you ship it or have driven by a company.
