This auction is for a 2001 Ford Expedition XLT AWD that was used as a Fire Department vehicle. It has 86,162 original miles and is a rust-free California vehicle. The vehicle comes with a clear California title and has passed a California smog test inspection (inspection report included). The vehicle is sold as is and without license plates.
This vehicle is equipped with a 5.4L OHC SEFI V8 engine, Control-Trac A4WD system, electronic automatic overdrive transmission, air conditioning, manually operated seats, AM/FM cassette radio, anti-lock brakes, tilt wheel, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, power adjustable pedals, rear window defroster and driver and passenger air bags.The condition is consistent with most used sixteen year old Fire Department emergency vehicles. It runs and drives well. It was involved in an accident and sustained minor damage to the left rear quarter panel. The damaged has been repaired. The tires and brakes are in good condition. Everything on it works except the dashboard cup holder extendable push feature. The cup holder must be extended manually. The remote entry transmitter operates but the insignia on the lock, unlock and alarm buttons has worn off and the unlock button must be pushed hard to operate.
The interior and exterior have been altered to allow for the installation of emergency equipment. The interior has holes in the headliner, interior panels and floor. The center console, third seat and rear dome light were remove and are not included. The exterior has holes in the roof, front grill, left rear quarter panel and running boards. The roof rack cross bars have been removed and are not included. (see photos) A spare tire and factory jack are included.
This vehicle is owned and operated by a municipality and has always received regular preventive maintenance and repairs. Included with the sale are the service/repair records dating back to 2004 and owner’s manual. No other parts or accessories come with this vehicle.
Scheduled inspections of the vehicle may be made prior to the close of the auction. Full payment is due within three (3) days from close of auction.
The vehicle will not be released until payment has been received and cleared.
Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up and registration. We are unable to provide shipping quotes or locate/select a shipper.
Vehicle must be picked up within 15-days from close of auction. If the vehicle is being sent out of the country, the buyer is responsible for completing all required paperwork.
