2005 Ford Expedition XLT

2005 Expedition XLT /5.4 L V8 automatic 2 wheel drive/ 8 passenger with 3rd row seats/cold air/ AM-FM with CD/Liftgate with flip up glass/ running boards/roof rails/heavy duty trailer tow/pwr windows and door locks/28 gal fuel tank/full size spare tire/disc brakes with ABS/leather interior with captain chairs up front/ four P265/70R17 Bridgestone tires with 6000 mileage put on Nov 2020 and then aligned/brakes at 60% (front pads replaced July 2020) just changed oil and replaced oil pan gasket/changed oil every 3000 miles / have all work receipts since owned/ never wrecked but has a couple of dents and scrapes/ interior good condition/ some wear and tear in the rear compartment and some small tears in the drivers seat/ it’s had sheepskin covers to protect seats and husky protective carpet liners/ passenger window is slow to move up and down/ MECHANICAL NOTE: Truck does drive but there is a sometime hesitation with acceleration at 40+ mph especially on inclines. Thought it was a coil failing but turned out intake variable timing solenoids failed under valve covers. These were REPLACED but further diagnosis shows cam phasers FAILING and replacement required at some point. / I have chosen to no longer invest in repairs nor to continue to drive this truck / this may be ideal for someone with the necessary skills to replace the phasers and have a reliable truck. Clean title on hand / I can text additional pictures and walk around video if needed/ $500.00 deposit required within 48 hours and full payment within 7 days.
