Description

This beast of a truck spent the majority of it's life in Colorado prior to coming to Texas. For being 57 years old, and unrestored it has surprisingly little rust. The truck is a factory 4x4 and manufactured out of Kansas. It is the long wheel base, which was the only option for the factory 4 wheel drives in 1960. It looks to still have the factory Caribbean Turquoise paint. Previous owner had primered the hood and top of cab some years ago in preparation for a possible repaint.
The 1960 F-100 of course falls in to what has become known as the 'Fridge' category, (1957-1960 Ford F-100's) due to their unique appearance. The 1960 is without a doubt my favorite!
If you are after a beauty queen, this trucks not for you. While luckily it has almost no rust, it does have small nicks, scrapes etc. The only rusted through area, as seen in the photos is on the passenger lower rear of truck bed by rear bumper. Nothing major. There is also a very small spot just in front of the drivers side door about midway up. Also there was some rust as most have in the floor pans. This one just had two small areas, and previous owner patched them years ago, also shown in photos. The passenger side glass has a crack, as well as the drivers vent glass. Rest of glass is perfect. Every single gauge in the truck works! All lights, signals, fuel gauge etc work as should. (Never happens!) The entire dash area is just beautiful if your like me and love these old Fords.
The 292 runs like a beast. It will get up and go to say the least. I will be making a short video over the weekend of the truck cranking and running - just message me and I will be glad to send you the link. The truck really runs great. If it does not sell at this auction, I will be holding onto this one for awhile. They are just that hard to find. If you desire any additional photos, of any areas of the truck please just ask and I will get them to you. I always respond within 24hours. I have only sold a few vehicles on ebay, but all have been exactly as described and received great reviews, and that's the way I intend to keep it. I have a clear Texas Title, in my name. The $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction close. I will also be glad to assist with shipping if needed. Also, if you have 0 feedback on ebay you must message me prior to bidding.
Good luck to all and happy bidding on 'The Beast'!
